Wig Size
It is important to understand that seasonal costumes are typically designed to be worn for one or two events. They are not professional, theatrical grade costumes and are not priced as such. So while the sizing information provided by the manufacturer is generally accurate for the measurements indicated, a seasonal costume will rarely fit every person as if it were tailor made for that person. This simply means that even though a costume may fit based on waist or hip measurements, it doesn't mean the inseam length or sleeve length will fit every body style with the same waist measurements. In some cases, alterations may be required and in others, you may need to order another size. And because seasonal costumes tend to run small, we suggest buying the larger size when in doubt. Please note that different manufacturers vary their sizing slightly. If in doubt between two sizes, it’s usually best to order the larger size. If you see sizing information in the Product Description of an item, that information always over-rides any information found elsewhere on our site as the sizing information in the product description is specific to that single costume and only that costume. Note too that bodysuit costumes are intended to be tight fitting. To find more details about sizes go to Sizing Chart.

| Sorry, at this time we do not offer printed catalogs or mailers. In today's electronic world, by the time we print out a paper catalog many of the items would either be sold-out or the information contained in the catalog would be out-of-date. It simply isn't practical to print and distribute a printed catalog containing over thousands of items. Plus, the cost of printing and distributing only serves to increase our operating costs which would have to be passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices. One of the advantages of having our inventory online is that it can be kept current. If for example there is a price change or a color or style change, within seconds we can change the item description. That is not possible using printed catalogs. Perhaps best of all is the fact that with an online catalog, our inventory database is instantly searchable by anyone from anywhere in the world using a PC and the internet. | |||

| Definitions to help you understand the benefits of certain wig features. Banana Comb: This is an outlined adjustable comb clip assembled with a very strong curved link and a clip that snaps together at the top. Blending: Due to the process of securing a specific color or tone for all wigs, extensions, or hair pieces, several colors of fibers are blended together which finalizes in "hackling” or "blending”. Butterfly Clip: The Butterfly Clip is a comb with the shape of a butterfly that contains teeth which interlock to attach to your own hair. By squeezing the clip the teeth of the clip proceed to open for easy attachment to your own hair. C3 Construction: The cap construction that uses the three C’s. Cool-easy for your scalp to breathe. Comfortable-material is softer and lighter. Capless-open wefting contributes to the cap weighing less. Cap: It provides shape as well as a base for the hair or fiber to be attached. Capless: Capless is most weightless cap. It contains open-wefting in the crown, back and sides. It provides extra ventilation for the scalp. Claw Clip: A clip with two combs interlocking that open when squeezed to attach to the hair. Cuticle: The cuticle is the outer layer of the hair follicle. Hair has three layers: a cuticle (the outer layer), a cortex (the middle layer, composed primarily of keratin and moisture, plus melanin, which gives our hair its color), and a medulla (the center of the hair shaft). Full Sheer Indulgence: Monofilament top with 100% hand-knotted base - Designed with the hair loss client in mind, this construction is uniquely crafted to offer this most discriminating woman the ultimate in wig fashion and comfort. In addition to the benefits of those styles constructed with a monofilament top and machine-made base, the rest of the wig is hand tied for the maximum in quality and light, cool comfort. Hand-Tied Construction: Wig fibers are tied to the cap by hand. You can brush or comb the hair in any direction you choose. Hand-Tied Wig Cap: Hand-tied wig caps are made with a thinner, flexible material which fits the shape of the head properly for a secure fit. The cap is also lighter. Kanekalon Fiber: The Kanekalon Fiber is an acrylic fiber that goes through a specialized process to better resemble human hair. Memory Cap: Featuring the latest in unique, state-of-the-art wig technology, the Raquel Welch Memory Cap replaces the wide stretch lace used in most of today's wigs with a thinner, more resilient stretch material that actually molds to the shape of the head for a lighter, more secure fit. Monofilament: A fine poly-silk mesh base which fibers are hand tied to this thin breathable fabric is placed at either the hairline or from the front to the crown. Open Ear Tabs: Flexible material that allows ear tabs to adjust and contour to the face at your temple. Ideal if you wear glasses. Optimum Cuticle Hair: Optimum Cuticle Hair has been treated yet not compromised to achieve the best performance with neat identical cuticle status. Optimum Cuticle Hair is the complete hair strand (including the cuticle) that retains its ability to remain tangle-free and more of its original luster. It is referred by many as "Remy”, "Virgin” or "Cut hair”. We are the only company to offer you and your clients finely crafted 100% Optimum Cuticle Hair in wig and hair solutions. O'Solite: New creations which are both an ultra comfy cap as well as a new combination of fibers those are soft, light, and vibrant. The cap construction is cool, lightweight and secure. The fiber mix is new, but thoroughly tested, and feels as soft as real hair. Yet, it has enough body and memory to keep its style. Permanent Lift: Backcombing provides body and fullness to your wig styles. Permanent Tease: Crimping at the base adds hair volume to your wig style without adding weight. Sheer Indulgence Monofilament Styles: The comfort and versatility is hard to believe, but so easy to achieve with Sheer Indulgence With a wide variety of looks to satisfy any woman's fashion needs, all styles in this collection offer some form of monofilament construction. Sheer Indulgence Part: Our newest SHEER INDULGENCE cap features a wide monofilament part with Memory Cap construction and our exclusive Vibralite synthetic fiber. Providing a true-to-life scalp-like appearance, the wide monofilament part allows the wearer to style a conventional part or the popular zigzag part featured in many of the latest salon styles. Sheer Indulgence Top: Featured in the majority of SHEER INDULGENCE styles, the SHEER INDULGENCE Top cap offers a Monofilament top with machine-made base and our exclusive Vibralite synthetic fiber. Made to exact specifications, the hair in the entire top area of the Sheer Indulgence Top wig is hand knotted, one by one, providing forward movement and the look of natural growth. This feature allows the flexibility of parting the hair on the left or right or in the center. A polyurethane front rim has been added to accommodate tape attachment for added security, if needed. Luminous, hand blended colors provide the look and highlights of natural hair. Sheer Lines Front: SHEER INDULGENCE Sheer Lines cap includes 100% human hair with a monofilament top. Our new Sheer Lines monofilament front and machine made base. In addition to the features offered in the Sheer Indulgence top, our Sheer Lines front includes fine human hair is individually knotted on 1/8" wide, ultra-sheer netting that goes from ear to ear along the polyurethane front rim of the cap resulting in a low density, natural looking hairline. You would swear the hair is growing right out of the scalp for amazing off-the-face styling versatility. Skin Top/Part: A skin part means the wig is parted in a fixed location, and gives the illusion of skin where it is parted. Wigs with a skin part are more affordable than a full monofilament and still give you a very natural look. Standard Cap: A standard cap is the most common and most affordable cap design. The layers of hair are open-wefted in the back and sides to allow for ventilation and have a closed lace layer at the crown. The hair at the crown is often lightly teased or crimped so you can not see down through the cap. This type of cap often gives the hair a natural lift at the crown for volume. Stretch Lace: Allows the wig to conform to the shape of your head, giving you a secure, comfortable fit. Switch Attachment: An elastic loop attachment that acts like a ponytail holder to attach the hair piece. Thin Wefts: A revolutionary technique that allows hair to be more evenly distributed so your wig is much more comfortable to wear and easier to style. Weaving: The process of forming a base (or track) along the scalp to attach wefted hair. Wefts: Strands of hair fibers are sewn together at one end to make a curtain of hair. These wefts are sewn onto the cap to simulate natural hair. Wing Comb: Strong combs that have teeth evenly spaced so that when pushed together the teeth hold and interlock in and under your own hair. Yadkin: A relaxed texture for ethnic weave styles. It has a crimped, course look. | |||

| The proper care of your hairpiece will keep it looking like new. Most women find it best to have a second hairpiece to
use while allowing the proper time for cleaning and drying their first hairpiece.
Step 1: use a shampoo specifically formulated to clean wigs, such as Texturizing Cleanser for synthetic hair. In a sink or basin,
mix a capful of wig shampoo in cool water and immerse your hairpiece. Let soak for a few minutes. Agitate gently and rinse in cool water until all shampoo is removed.

| The best way to store your wig is on a wig stand. That will help your wig from becoming tangled and soiled between
wearing and it helps to maintain your wig’s style. Store your wig in a clean place, away from dust, sources of high heat, and excessive humidity.

| General Tips: 1. Don't try to get every hair perfectly in place. This can make your wig look "un- natural". 2. Use, wig brushes, combs and other styling accessories. They make styling easier and extend the life of your wig. 3. Don't be afraid to use hair mousse or gel to achieve a certain style. 4. Have fun experimenting with different looks! Synthetic Style: 1. Try the "shake and go" method. Many styles need only a good shake or finger styling and they're ready to wear. 2. For tight curly or ringlet styles give the wig a vigorous shake, then gently lift and separate the curls with a pick comb or your fingers. DO NOT BRUSH. 3. For wavy styles with loose curls brush lightly with a wig styling brush or pick comb using short, lifting strokes - just enough to relax the style. 4. For long curly styles use your fingers or a pick comb to gently lift and separate the curls. DO NOT BRUSH. 5. For straight styles brush in long, even, gentle strokes from the crown to the ends for a smooth, sleek look. 6. After each wearing, spray the ends of your wig with wig conditioner. Gently remove any tangles. 7. Never expose your wig to heated styling tools such as hair dryers and curling irons or other heat sources. Human Hair Style: 1. Always use a wide tooth or pick comb for curly styles and a wire brush for straight styles. Avoid standard brushes. 2. When brushing, start at the ends and gently work your way to the roots. 3. To completely restyle your human hair wig, we suggest taking it to your stylist. If you decide to restyle it yourself, please follow these guidelines: - Place wig on wig stand. Use standard or electric rollers or pin curls. - Remove tangles with a wire brush or wide toothcomb. - Pick up hair and wind on roller, smoothing ends as you go. - Use medium setting with electric rollers or hair dryer. With hair dryer about 12" from wig, circulate heat evenly and continuously. - Allow hair to cool before removing rollers or pin curls. - Lightly brush or backcomb desired areas and spray with hair spray. | |||

| 1. GETTING FAMILIAR WITH SNAP CLIPS ELEGANTE clip-in extensions are secured to your hair by a series of Snap Clips. The Snap-Clips are sewn to wefts of ELEGANTE 100% Premium Remy Human Hair thus creating a quick and easy way to add beautiful length and volume to your hair. PRACTICE opening and closing Snap Clips to get familiar with the amount of pressure needed to operate the Snap Clips. Snap Clips open and close when pressure is applied to the center. 2. PRACTICE PLACING WEFTS IN YOUR HAIR ![]() Using one of the 1 1/2" wefts (these narrow wefts are for placement on the sides of your head) PRACTICE, placing and removing weft in your own hair on either side of your head. 3. PRACTICE PARTING YOUR OWN HAIR ELEGANTE clip-in extensions are attached along a horizontal part that you make in your own hair. The horizontal part should run from one side of your head to the other side and be in a SLIGHT "U” shape. 4. WHERE DO I STARTIf you are placing multiple wefts, it is recommended that you work from the bottom up. In other words, place the first weft in the desired location and then place the next weft ABOVE the first and so on. Keep in mind that the wider wefts are for placement along the higher horizontal parts, so it is recommended that you begin with the 5 ¾ wide weft. Once you have created your first horizontal part, secure the hair above the part with large hair clip, and comb your hair that is below the horizontal part so that your hair hangs neatly below the part. 5. PLACING ELEGANTE CLIP-IN HAIR WEFTS IN YOUR HAIR ![]() Starting with one of the wider wefts, open all the Snap Clips on the weft. Place the weft below your horizontal part making sure that the weft is centered on your head. The top of the weft should run along the bottom of the horizontal part. Once you have placed the weft in the desired location, snap close the Snap Clips, beginning with the center Snap Clip. Be certain that the Snap Clips are secured completely to your hair before going on. It is suggested that you pull the wefts slightly taunt before snapping close the second and third Snap Clips. This will minimize any folds or looseness in the wefts along your part. After placing and securing the first weft completely, carefully brush or comb through weft and your hair below the horizontal part. This will remove any tangles or bunching of hair that may have occurred during placement of the weft. Release the hair above your horizontal part and brush or comb your hair again to integrate your new ELEGANTE clip-in extension hair to your own hair. Congratulations! You have just added beautiful length and volume to your own hair. 6. PLACING ADDITIONAL WEFTS Repeat steps 4 and 5. Place additional wefts above previous wefts. The 1 ½" wefts are to be used on the sides of your head. The first 1 ½" weft should be placed slightly above the ear line, and the second 1 ½" weft should be placed above the first. Repeat on the other side. 7. REMOVING WEFTS Please remove wefts carefully so that you do not unnecessarily tug or pull out your own hair. Begin with the lightest weft (if you have placed multiple wefts in your hair). Clip up your own hair above the weft to be removed. Open all Snap Clips completely before removing the weft. Once all Snap Clips are open, gently pull the weft up and away from your own hair. NEVER ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE WEFT IF ALL THE SNAP CLIPS ARE NOT OPEN. | |||

Adjust the position so the front edge of the wig is just over your own hairline. Step 6: Use the ear tabs on the left and right side to center your wig. If your wig feels to tight or too loose, use the Velcro tabs at the back of the wig to adjust for the most comfortable fit. Tuck in any stray hairs and that’s it.
